Mission Statement: To create and promote a community climate where businesses are productive and profitable.

The Yuba-Sutter Chamber of Commerce is the third largest business organization north of Sacramento representing some 700 businesses with more than 16,700 employees in Marysville, Yuba City, Wheatland and other towns in Yuba and Sutter Counties. The Yuba-Sutter region is located 40 miles north of Sacramento and encompasses 1,200 square miles with a population estimated at 164,000 and growing.

The Yuba-Sutter Chamber of Commerce focuses on core competencies of business retention and expansion, community building, legislative advocacy and membership services. Members have a variety of networking opportunities through the Chamber; we offer seminars and classes and advocate for a strong economy and sound business practices through the Government Affairs Committee.

The Chamber of Commerce assists local economic development agencies in promoting the Yuba-Sutter business community and advocates for a strong local economy. To achieve that mission we promote the needs and concerns of businesses; we develop new business resources and disseminate important information on business development services.

The area is largely agricultural but is growing rapidly with thousands of homes proposed throughout the two-county area. New residents are drawn to the Quality of Life of the area, which includes a widely diverse cultural community and the strategic location of Beale Air Force Base in Yuba County.

The Sutter Buttes known as the world’s smallest mountain range, are the symbolic focal point of the community.
On the northern bank of the Yuba River in Marysville, is the unique and sacred Bok Kai Temple. For over a century it has been a place of worship for Chinese in North and Central America who pay tribute to Bok Eye, their water God or God of the Dark North. It is the only known temple honoring Bok Eye in the United States and it has drawn countless worshippers and tourists through the years.
